Volume 1 includes more than 1,000 images related to teaching that were contributed by 20 nematologists from around the world. The illustrations consist of original photographs including light and electron micrographs of various nematode genera and species, symptoms of infection on host plants, symptoms seen in the field, nematologists, nematological institutions, and charts and diagrams useful for teaching. They are described with a figure legend and a catalog that can be searched by key words.
